How To Get More Leads For B2B Sales Without Cold Calling

In this article, I will show you one of the easiest ways to find free quality B2B clients for your company without cold calling.
What Is B2B Lead Generation?
You may or may not already know what B2B lead generation is about, so for the benefit of the doubt, let’s first understand what it is all about.
To put it simply, lead generation for B2B is the process of finding business leads for a business so the sales team can follow up with those leads. And there are many ways to go about doing this.
So How Do I Get More B2B Clients?
Now that you know what B2B lead gen is, you may be thinking to yourself, great I already know what that is so what’s the way to do this?
Here comes my method that is free and doesn’t require cold calling and it’s suitable for everybody even for beginners.
Google + Cold Email Method
Prospecting B2B Leads On Google
My method is all about getting free B2B leads by Googling the industry and location I’m interested in. For example, I would Google “divorce lawyer new york”.
You will then see a list of websites returned by Google and if you click on each website, you can find the businesses’ email and phone number for you to contact them.
I would compile the businesses’ email and phone number onto a spreadsheet and that will be my list of b2b contacts.
I would, later on, send a personalized cold email to each contact from my business email address.
As you can see this method works, but is very time consuming and hard to scale. There is a fantastic solution that automates the processes which I will share with you at the bottom of this page. Keep reading!
When writing the cold email, I will keep everything under 6 sentences and make it personalized to what I can offer to them. Remember, when writing cold emails, it is important to be concise and straight to the point without sounding salesy.
The email should address the agenda, and make it about them and not you. Don’t start off the email with cringy and cliche greetings like “Good day sir”.
Following Up With Emails
Once the emails are sent out, I will follow up with the leads by sending out follow up emails 2 days after the first email to each lead individually if they haven’t responded to my previous emails.
I usually follow up 4-5 times before I give up on the lead completely.
Following Up With A Warm Call For A Higher Success Rate
Alternatively, you can also follow-up with phone calls and during the conversation just say you’re calling because of the email you sent earlier and ask if they have looked it yet.
This is a better positioning for you and also gives you a foot-in-the-door opportunity with the lead compared to the straight-up cold calling which is what most people hate to do.
By following-up with a warm call, you are ensuring a higher success rate of turning them into a client which is what I recommend personally, although I have stopped doing it completely these days due to the inbound leads I’m getting with Search Engine Optimization.
Execute This Method At Scale With Automation
The above method works very well in generating B2B leads and is free but the only downside to that is it takes a few hours to compile those leads, create and send them personalized emails and follow up with them afterward.
